Privacy Policy
Effective date: November 3, 2026
CaliforniaCaseReview.com (the "Site") is operated by M&Y Personal Injury Lawyers, 6300 Wilshire Blvd. Suite 807, Los Angeles, CA 90048 ("we," "us" or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through the Site, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have, including your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA").
This Site is attorney advertising. Submitting information does not create an attorney-client relationship.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Contact details: first and last name, phone number, email address and zip code.
- Accident and claim details: the date and state of the accident, who was at fault, whether anyone was injured, the type of injury, whether medical care was received, whether there was insurance, whether you already have an attorney, whether you are submitting for yourself or a loved one, and the description you write.
- Communications: anything you send us by phone, text or email.
Information about injuries and medical care is health-related information and is treated as "sensitive personal information" under California law. We use it only to evaluate and handle your potential claim.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, the page you came from, and the date and time of your visit.
- Consent verification: we use TrustedForm, a service provided by ActiveProspect, Inc., to create a certificate of your form visit. It records your interactions with the form page (including a replay of the page as you saw it, what you typed and the consent language shown) so we can prove that you gave consent to be contacted. TrustedForm does not record the content of your other browsing.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see our Cookie Policy.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To review whether you may have a claim and whether your case qualifies.
- To contact you about your claim by phone, text message and email, as you agreed when you submitted the form.
- To refer your claim to, and share it with, the law firms and attorneys described below so they can evaluate and, if accepted, handle your case.
- To keep records of your consent and to comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), State Bar of California rules and other laws.
- To operate, secure and improve the Site, and to detect and prevent fraud, spam and abuse.
- To respond to your requests and to enforce our Terms of Service.
3. How We Share Your Information
- Law firms and attorneys: we share your contact and claim information with M&Y Personal Injury Lawyers, with the California-licensed attorney associated for California cases, and with partner law firms that review and handle accident claims, including Reliance Litigation. These firms may contact you directly about your claim.
- Service providers: companies that help us run the Site and our business, such as website hosting (Netlify), consent verification (ActiveProspect TrustedForm), lead management and CRM systems, and phone, text and email providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Legal reasons: when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights, property or safety of us, you or others.
- Business transfers: as part of a merger, sale of assets or similar transaction.
Sale and sharing. Referring your claim information to a partner law firm in exchange for compensation may be considered a "sale" of personal information under the CCPA. You have the right to opt out, as described below. We do not sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16 years of age.
4. Text Messages and Calls
If you check the consent box and submit the form, you agree that California Case Review, M&Y Personal Injury Lawyers and Reliance Litigation may contact you about your claim at the number you provided, including by calls and text messages that may use automated technology or prerecorded or artificial voice messages. Consent is not a condition of any service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts, or HELP for help. You can also opt out by emailing support@californiacasereview.com. We do not sell or share your mobile number or text opt-in consent with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know and access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties we disclosed it to.
- Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep to prove consent or for an active legal matter).
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
- Limit the use of your sensitive personal information to what is necessary to evaluate and handle your claim.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof that the agent is authorized and may ask you to verify your identity directly. We respond within 45 days, and may extend that by another 45 days when reasonably necessary.
